Brian here with some exciting news from the world of AI. We're about to see some major upgrades to the tools you might already be using—and some new ones that could change how you run your business.
Let's break down what's coming and what it means for you!
What To Expect From GPT-5
GPT-5 is OpenAI's next big update, coming later this year. Here's what makes it different from GPT-4:
Smarter reasoning: While GPT-4 might forget parts of your marketing strategy discussion after 20 minutes, GPT-5 could help you plan a full quarterly campaign and remember every detail from the beginning to end of your planning sessions.
More helpful for business: Instead of just drafting a single email like GPT-4 does, GPT-5 could create your entire email sequence, design the templates, and suggest the best times to send each one.
Better at understanding you: With GPT-4, you might need to rewrite your question three times to get the right answer about Facebook ad targeting. GPT-5 will understand what you mean the first time, even if you use industry slang or skip some details.
Works with more tools: While GPT-4 might tell you how to analyze your sales data, GPT-5 could actually connect to your Shopify store, pull the data, analyze it, and create a visual report—all in one go.
What To Expect From Claude 4
Claude 4 from Anthropic is also getting a major upgrade:
Longer memory: Claude 3.7 might get confused when reviewing your 30-page business plan, but Claude 4 could analyze your entire business plan, last year's financials, and your competitor research all at once—then give you insights that connect all three.

What To Expect From Operator 2
Operator 2 from Imbue is the new kid on the block, but it's turning heads:
Works on its own: The original Operator might help you research competitors, but you'd need to guide every step. Operator 2 could take your simple request of "research our top 5 competitors and create a comparison chart" and handle the entire process—finding the companies, gathering data, creating and formatting the chart, all on its own.
Connects with your tools: While the first version might give you text to copy/paste into your CRM, Operator 2 could log into Hubspot, update customer records, set follow-up tasks, and even draft personalized outreach emails—just like a real sales assistant would.
Learns your style: The original might write emails in a generic business tone. Operator 2 will notice that you always edit its work to be more conversational and include GIFs, then start writing that way automatically for you.
Explains its thinking: If Operator 2 recommends raising your product price by 15%, it won't just make the suggestion—it'll explain that it analyzed your competitor pricing, customer feedback on value, and production costs to reach that specific number.
